StarSkate Programming continues the development of the fundamental skills learned in the CanSkate Program. There are 3 areas of focus across this level: Stroking, Free skating (jumps, spins, footwork & field movements) and Dances (as series of prescribed steps, skated to set music, in a specific pattern on ice).
PreStar (CanSkate levels 5&6) and StarSkate 1 registration fees include coaching fees. Additional Private lessons can be arranged with coaches directly.
StarSkate 2 and up registration fees do not include coaching fees. Our coaches have an hourly rate that will be charged in minutes spent coaching. The Coaches will directly invoice the skater for private, semi-private or group lessons. Registration fees include 1 group stroking session per skate night.
